Dizolele is an independent journalist specializing in US Africa policy. He holds an International Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago. He will be working on his book, "Mobutu: The Rise and Fall of the Leopard King," during his fellowship.

Mvemba Phezo Dizolele was a W. Glenn Campbell and Rita Ricardo-Campbell National Fellow for 2007–2008 at the Hoover Institution.
