Materials are brought from the stacks to the reading room every half hour from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Archival holdings are brought from the stacks to the reading room at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m.

Parking
There is a day-use parking lot on Galvez Street at Campus Drive that accepts currency, coins, or credit cards. On Saturdays all campus parking, except handicapped spaces, is available without charge to visitors. Campus parking map
Users with disabilities
The Library is accessible by a ramp on the west side of the Hoover Tower, between the Tower and the Cummings Art Building. For more information about accessibility for the Hoover Library please call the Circulation Desk at (650) 723-2058 or send your request to hoovercirc@hoover.stanford.edu.
The Archives is accessible by a ramp from Crothers Way (behind the Herbert Hoover Memorial Building and Hoover Tower, between the Herbert Hoover Memorial Building and Green Library) and then an elevator just inside the front door of the building. List of collections stored off-site
Some of the archives’ collections are stored off-site, and it may be possible to have a limited number of boxes brought to the archives reading room for examination. A minimum of two days notice is required. Please contact Carol Leadenham for more information.
