Western Language Publications
The Hoover Institution's Western-language holdings on the Middle East are exceptionally rich. Coverage of modern history—of the Middle East in general, the Jews, Arabia, Iran, Turkey, Egypt, and North Africa—is especially strong. Western-language holdings are also strong in the classic works of Western travelers in the Middle East and in the works on Islam. The Hoover Institution currently receives over 120 Western-language serials from and about the Middle East, as well as selected newspapers of record of Western and Eastern Europe and North America.
