Shanto Iyengar, the Chandler Chair in Communication at Stanford University, where he is also a professor of political science and director of the Political Communication Laboratory, moderated a discussion on the aftermath of the 2012 elections. Participants in the discussion included David Brady, deputy director and Davies Family Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution; Douglas Rivers, a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution and a professor of political science at Stanford University, who is also a research fellow with the Stanford Institute for the Quantitative Study of Society and the president and CEO of YouGov/Polimetri; Matthew Kaminski, a Hoover media fellow and member of the Wall Street Journal's editorial board in New York; and Dan Balz, chief correspondent for the Washington Post.
