After a week of indecision, Europe and the United States have decided to impose steep costs on Putin, even though its means economic hardship at home. They will not let Putin’s reckless use of raw power, bullying and lying go unpunished. As the Russian people wake up to the Big Lie of Russian mass media and pay a personal price for Putin’s adventurism, the warm glow of pride will fade. It's time for a reset for U.S. policy toward Russia.
