Eva died in 1952, having attracted both enormous popularity, as someone promoting social welfare programs for the poor in Argentina, and enormous controversy, as a close associate of her husband.

The text, which refers to the anniversary of a mass mobilization demanding Perón’s release from military arrest in October 1945, is signed by a committee demanding his return from exile in Spain to again lead Argentina.
