Program Dates: AUGUST 14-18, 2022
Only those who meet one of the following requirements should move forward with this application:
Completed at least two years of a four-year undergraduate degree by summer 2022 (i.e., current sophomores, juniors or seniors)
Completed at least two years of a three-year undergraduate degree by summer 2022 (some international applicants); or
Recent graduate from an undergraduate degree program (graduate students are eligible to apply).
The boot camp is FREE to all accepted applicants. Program fees, food and lodging will be covered for participants accepted into the program. Travel expenses and other incidentals are not included.

The Early Bird application deadline is January 17, 2022 (no application fee)
The Final application deadline is March 4, 2022 for all applicants ($100 application fee from January 18 - March 4, 2022).
Candidates should submit an essay explaining how this program fits into their professional or educational goals (1,000 words maximum), a CV, a completed application form, and two letters of recommendation.
To submit your letters of reference, please provide this link to your recommenders: http://hvr.co/HiSPBC-LOR. The submission deadline for the the letters of reference is the same as the application deadline.
The application fee is non-refundable, and must be received by the March 4, 2022 deadline.
Program fees, food and lodging will be free to accepted applicants.

Hoover Institution Summer Policy Boot Camp Letter of Recommendation Submission
Thank you for taking the time to recommend a candidate for Hoover's Summer Policy Boot Camp.
The Hoover Institution’s Summer Policy Boot Camp (HISPBC) is an intensive, one week residential immersion program in the essentials of today’s national and international United States policy. The program is intended to instruct college students and recent graduates on the economic, political, and social aspects of United States public policy. The goal is to teach students how to think critically about public policy formulation and its results.
We ask recommenders to complete the following form, with all required fields marked by a red asterisk. Please note that recommendations for applications to the Summer Policy Boot Camp do not require a supplemental letter. However, if you feel your recommendation is best served with the addition of a letter, you may attach one at the bottom of this form.
Please be aware that admissions decisions are made only after all required materials are received and reviewed, so your prompt submission is kindly requested.
The deadline to submit your recommendation is January 17, 2022 for early bird registration and March 4, 2022 for regular registration.
