On September 20, 2021, as Stanford began the academic year, the Hoover Institution Library & Archives also welcomed back our vibrant community of scholars and the public. Before planning your visit, here are some things you need to know.
The Hoover Institution Library & Archives reading room resumed operations on September 20th. We are following Stanford and county regulations and have implemented new systems to provide researchers a seamless visit and maintain everyone’s safety. Although members of the public are welcome to the outdoor areas and some of the public spaces of the Stanford campus, Hoover Tower, including the observation deck and the galleries will remain closed until further notice.
We are limiting the number of researchers in our reading room which will enable us to increase physical and social distancing.
