Hoover Senior Fellow Russell Berman discusses the arrest list compiled by the Gestapo, the Nazi German secret police, in anticipation of a land invasion of Great Britain at the start of the Second World War. Hoover holds one of the few surviving copies of the printed and bound list, which has the word "Geheim!" printed on its cover, meaning secret. Names and addresses of people targeted for arrest, including current politicians as well as cultural figures and exiles to Britain.
