Egypt

These collections primarily concern Egyptian political and social movements, including the communist movement, the election of Gamal Abdel Nasser, and conflicts surrounding the Suez Canal. The papers of Egyptian diplomat and former United Nations secretary-general Boutros Boutros-Ghali document, in part, his experience negotiating the 1978 peace treaty between Egypt and Israel. Early publications of the Muslim Brotherhood are also available.
