
The Hoover Institution and the U.S.-India Business Council invite you to attend 2026 West Coast Summit: Missions, Machines, & Mutual Trust in the AI Age on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Programming throughout the day, beginning at 8:30 a.m. PT in the Shultz Auditorium, George P. Shultz Building.
The Summit will convene leaders from industry, academia, and government to explore how emerging technologies are reshaping the U.S.-India strategic partnership. Discussions will focus on areas including AI, semiconductor supply chains, technology cooperation, and the role of trust in building a durable partnership between the two countries.
The program will also explore opportunities to advance the Technology, Resilience, and U.S.-India Strategic Ties (TRUST) Initiative and Pax Silica, translating high-level commitments into practical collaboration between American and Indian industry, innovators, and institutions.
Following the Summit, participants are invited to join a lunch, U.S.-India Innovation Bridges masterclass, curated tours of the Hoover Institution Library & Archives and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, and a networking reception.
