The Hoover Institution and the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) invite you to the DC launch of the 2024 AI Index Report, to be released on April 15, 2024. The AI Index is an annual report that tracks, collatesdistills, and visualizes data relating to AI, recognized globally as one of the most credible and authoritative sources for data and insights on artificial intelligence. The discussion will highlight the findings from the 2024 version of the report and relevant findings for policymakers.

The 2024 Index is the most comprehensive report to date, launching at a critical time when AI's impact on society is more pronounced than ever. The report has broadened its scope to more extensively cover key trends such as AI’s technical progress, public perceptions, and the geopolitical dynamics. Featuring an unprecedented amount of original data, the 2024 edition introduces new estimates on AI training costs, detailed analyses of the responsible AI landscape, and an entirely new chapter dedicated to AI's transformative impact on science and medicine.

This panel discussion will be in person at the Hoover DC office and will be followed by a reception. This event will also be available via livestream. Click here to register for an in-person ticket. More information on the livestream will be announced soon.
