The Hoover Institution and the ABA Section of Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice hosted "The Second Hoover Commission's 60th Anniversary" on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 2:00pm - 6:30pm.

Last year marked the 60th anniversary of the Second Hoover Commission's final report, "Legal Services and Procedure," proposing reforms to agency procedure, including several proposals still germane today. In honor of that report and its potential lessons for today, the Section and Hoover presented a variety of speakers looking at some historic proposals for regulatory reform, the present state of affairs, and the current prospects for reform.
