The Hoover Institution hosted A Fireside Chat with Sean Cairncross of the Millennium Challenge Corporation and Condoleezza Rice on February 27, 2020.

In 2004, the United States Government took a bold step in re-imagining how to approach international development. The United States was seeking a new model for foreign assistance that wouldn’t just conduct business as usual, but would follow data and analytics, wherever they led. The result was the creation of the Millennium Challenge Corporation. Fifteen years later, MCC is still pushing the envelope on the best ways to deliver U.S. foreign assistance by focusing on policy reform, country ownership, and sustainable results.

Join MCC's CEO Sean Cairncross to hear how MCC's unique approach to reducing poverty through economic growth is having an impact around the world.

*Please note this event is by invitation only.
