The Hoover Institution is hosting How COVID-19 is Changing Washington's View of China on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. PDT.

In recent years, a spirited debate has broken out within the U.S. foreign policy community over the future of the U.S.-China relationship. Mr. Rogin will examine how COVID-19 is impacting that debate in Washington and reshaping the future of U.S. foreign policy. 

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Josh Rogin is a columnist for the Global Opinions section of the Washington Post and a political analyst with CNN. Previously, he covered foreign policy and national security for Bloomberg View, Newsweek, The Daily Beast, Foreign Policy magazine, Congressional Quarterly, Federal Computer Week magazine, and Japan’s Asahi Shimbun.  He was a 2011 finalist for the Livingston Award for Young Journalists and the 2011 recipient of the Interaction Award for Excellence in International Reporting.

This lecture is part of the Hoover Project on Taiwan in the Indo-Pacific Region.
