Senator Marsha Blackburn was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2018, and is currently serving her first term representing the state of Tennessee. Before her election to the Senate, she represented Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District. Blackburn's public service is dedicated to promoting opportunities for women and making America a more prosperous place to live.

Michael Auslin is the Payson J. Treat Distinguished Research Fellow in Contemporary Asia at the Hoover Institution. He specializes in current and historical U.S. policy in Asia and political and security issues in the Indo-Pacific region. A best-selling author, his latest book is Asia's New Geopolitics: Essays on Reshaping the Indo-Pacific.
