Summer brings an exciting and diverse group of scholars to the Library & Archives, especially as we welcome participants in our annual workshop series. In June we enjoyed remarks on the conservative legal movement delivered by Johns Hopkins professor Steven Teles, keynote speaker for the Workshop on Political Economy; in July we open the reading rooms to members of the Workshop on Authoritarianism and Democratic Breakdown and the Workshop on Modern China. As always, we continue to host students in the archives and welcome the public to enjoy gallery talks about our current exhibition, We Shot the War: Overseas Weekly in Vietnam.

We hope that you will join us this summer for one or more of our many events, and thank you for the support that makes them possible.

Warm regards,

 - Eric Wakin, Director
