The Hoover Institution's Bio-Strategies and Leadership Congressional Leadership Accelerator for Biotechnology (C-LAB) is an intensive two-day program that brings together experts in biotechnology and biosecurity from industry, academia, and government to explore key issues in emerging biotechnologies. The program will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, and laboratory visits led by leading thinkers, including Dr. Drew Endy—Science & Senior Fellow (by courtesy) at the Hoover Institution, Martin Family University Fellow in Undergraduate Education (Bioengineering) at Stanford University, and Director of the Bio-Strategies and Leadership initiative at Hoover.

Designed for mid- to senior-level congressional staff, C-LAB provides participants with a unique opportunity to engage directly with experts shaping the future of biotechnology policy, innovation, and governance.

The program includes two full days of programming on February 18 and 19, with travel to California on the evening of February 17 and a return on the morning of February 20. Participants receive round-trip airfare to Stanford University from Washington, DC, ground transportation in California, lodging in Palo Alto, and meals on program days.
