Victoria Perez was formerly a W. Glenn Campbell and Rita Ricardo-Campbell National Fellow at the Hoover Institution from 2021-2022.

Perez is an applied economist interested in health economics and public finance. She received a BA in economics and political science from the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) and a PhD from the Wharton School of the UPenn.

Victoria is an assistant professor at the Yale School of Public Health. She does research on how systemic factors affect health care access for vulnerable populations. As part of this focus, Victoria’s studies include Medicaid design and public finance outcomes, provider competition, and health care fraud.
