This issue primarily highlights the propaganda war waged by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to influence global perceptions of China’s involvement in the coronavirus pandemic. There is also reference to the geopolitical and military implications of the pandemic, particularly with regards to the South China Sea and wider Pacific Ocean. There is also significant coverage of the CCP’s malign treatment of the PRC’s Uighur minority in Xinjiang. There is also coverage of persecution faced by Christians in the PRC at the hands of the CCP.
