The PRC Foreign Minister has been missing for nearly a month and the country’s officials are pretending that nothing is strange.  His disappearance is driving rumors that he had an extramarital affair, perhaps with a British spy, and had a son with her in the United States.

Expect to see these rumors continue to swirl until the PRC comes clean.

Also, Hoover and the Asia Society released a detailed report on how the semiconductor industry influences the fraught relations between the PRC, Taiwan, and the United States.  The national security and economic prosperity of those three countries are tied up with an industry that touches nearly every part of modern society.
