This week starts with a powerful essay from a Uyghur father who hasn’t seen his daughter for a decade and who is disappointed that the world has essentially forgotten about the Chinese Communist Party’s genocide of his people.

Just as Australia was signing a collective security treaty with Fiji, the PRC test-fired a submarine launched ballistic missile into the South Pacific as Beijing increases its nuclear saber-rattling.  Simultaneously, Reuters reported on leaked secret documents that showed that the PRC and Russia are coordinating even more closely on military training than was previously believed.

Michael Schuman writes for The Atlantic about how the Chinese Communist Party is already using advanced AI for domestic and foreign propaganda campaigns at scale.  The Dean of Singapore’s S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) writes a commentary about how PRC-linked activists are attacking Singaporeans of Indian heritage and employing the “Great Replacement Theory” to suggest that the ethnic majority Chinese in Singapore are under threat and not being protected by their government.

Debbie Stabenow, the former Democratic Senator for Michigan, writes an OpEd in Newsweek accusing “Big Pharma” as enabling the CCP to dominate yet another critical industry sector and further open the United States to vulnerability and coercion.
