Patenaude a research fellow at the Hoover Institution and the author of Trotsky: Downfall of a Revolutionary, has worked extensively with the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies (CREEES) to organize and conduct workshops for Bay Area high school teachers. He gave a talk titled “Trotsky: Downfall of a Revolutionary” at the Classic Residence by Hyatt in Palo Alto, California, on April 13.
