David Brady receives Lyman award

Hoover Institution senior fellow David Brady (right) receives the Richard W. Lyman Award from Stanford Provost John Etchemendy on January 18. The Lyman Award has been given annually since 1983 to a faculty member for volunteer service to Stanford and the Stanford Alumni Association. The January 18 award ceremony and reception drew more than 150 faculty and staff members. Brady is deputy director and senior fellow at Hoover. He is also the Bowen H. and Janice Arthur McCoy Professor of Political Science and Ethics in the Stanford Graduate School of Business and professor of political science in the School of Humanities and Sciences at the university.
