Timothy Chu is a Research Fellow working on Bio-Strategies Leadership with Dr. Drew Endy. He was formerly an AAAS Science Policy Fellow in the US Senate, and worked  with the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology (NSCEB). Tim received his computer science PhD from Carnegie Mellon and his math degree from MIT.  He has published AI research in conferences like NeurIPS (first-author spotlight), co-patented digital bio-defense technology used to fight COVID, and taught math in Africa.
