Colonel Kelly C. Martin, U.S. Space Force, is a career intelligence officer with assignments spanning airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), targeting, operational planning, and space operations, including deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, Colombia, Poland, and the Republic of Korea. She previously served as director of intelligence at the Combined Space Operations Center, Vandenberg Space Force Base.

Commissioned in 2005, Martin served as deputy chief of the Department of Defense’s Algorithmic Warfare Cross-Functional Team (Project Maven), leading efforts to integrate artificial intelligence into military operations. She also served on the US Space Force headquarters staff as intelligence officer career field manager and led the vice chief of space operations’ initiative on artificial intelligence integration across the Space Force.

Martin earned a master’s degree in homeland security and public health preparedness from Penn State College of Medicine and was selected as a Chief of Staff of the Air Force Blue Horizons fellow, where she led a team that developed a deployable biomanufacturing capability for expeditionary airfield operations, earning an MS in airpower strategy and technology integration.
