About

Clint Trocchio served tours as a military pilot, flight instructor, budget officer, and congressional liaison in the US Coast Guard for twenty-two years. He led aircrew deployments across the Pacific and Central and South America and served shoreside as a liaison to Congress, industry, and international partners at California’s maritime port complexes. In his final active-duty assignment, Clint was detailed to the US Senate Committee on Appropriations as a budget and program examiner overseeing the Department of Homeland Security. He retired from active duty and joined the committee as a staffer, leading the chairman’s digital and financial modernization effort. Over the last five years, he has led the policy innovation team that modernized the committee’s trillion-dollar appropriations ledger and built the analytics machinery behind the Senate’s data-driven, evidence-based approach to congressionally directed spending. He is a volunteer and chair of the US Senate Federal Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee, where he helps oversee the auditing and risk management of over $1 billion in assets.
