Felipe Jafet

Felipe Jafet is a junior at Stanford, majoring in history and economics. His research interests lie around law, the formation of democratic institutions, and how ideas have been shared and interpreted throughout time. Born and raised in Brazil, his work at HHL focuses on the Brazilian Supreme Court’s role in contributing to the decline of constitutionalism in the country. In his free time, you can find him on the tennis court, at church, or indulging in Arrillaga’s world-famous oatmeal raisin cookies.
