Megan Andros was previously a Veteran Fellow at the Hoover Institution 2021–22.

Megan Andros is a senior program officer at The Heinz Endowments and is responsible for the foundation’s Veterans and Military Families Initiative. The initiative focuses on the Pittsburgh and western Pennsylvania region and seeks to improve reintegration outcomes for the estimated 5,200 veterans, plus family members, who move to the region each year by advancing strategies in five key areas: navigation, full employment, leadership, perception change, and policy change. Before joining The Heinz Endowments, Andros served for five years as an ordnance officer in the Army’s First Cavalry Division. She is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. She graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point in 2006 with a BS in international law and completed the Master of Public Management program at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College in 2018. She is married to a fellow Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran and has two children.
