About

Megan Andros is a Veteran Fellow at the Hoover Institution.

Megan Andros is a senior program officer at The Heinz Endowments and is responsible for the foundation’s Veterans and Military Families Initiative. The initiative focuses on the Pittsburgh and western Pennsylvania region and seeks to improve reintegration outcomes for the estimated 5,200 veterans, plus family members, who move to the region each year by advancing strategies in five key areas: navigation, full employment, leadership, perception change, and policy change. Before joining The Heinz Endowments, Andros served for five years as an ordnance officer in the Army’s First Cavalry Division. She is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
