    Sarah Alla Iagudaeva is a policy fellow at the Hoover Institution, where she leads the empirical analysis for the Immigration Initiative. She was previously a Hoover visiting scholar with Senior Fellow Paola Sapienza and conducted research at Harvard Business School, Harvard Kennedy School, and Bocconi University. She holds advanced degrees in economics from Bocconi and the Barcelona School of Economics.

Sarah Alla Iagudaeva is a policy fellow at the Hoover Institution, where she leads the empirical analysis for the Immigration Initiative. Drawing on broad expertise in applied microeconomics, she grounds policy research in rigorous evidence.

Iagudaeva assembles and analyzes the large datasets behind the initiative's research, integrating administrative records, government microdata, and large-scale survey series into reproducible analysis workflows. She also translates technical analysis into clear and actionable insights, presenting findings in terms policymakers and other nontechnical audiences can use.

Before joining the initiative, she was a Hoover visiting scholar with Senior Fellow Paola Sapienza and conducted research at Harvard Business School, Harvard Kennedy School, and Bocconi University. Her earlier research spanned cultural economics, political economy, and development economics.

Iagudaeva holds a master's degree in economic and social sciences from Bocconi University, a master's degree in economics from the Barcelona School of Economics, and a bachelor's degree in economics from the Higher School of Economics.
