Dominican Republic

Overview

The collections about the Dominican Republic center on US military interventions in the country, first in 1916 and again in 1965, and contain correspondence, interviews, and reports. The Theodore Draper Papers include printed matter relating to the political crisis immediately before the 1965 US intervention.
