Hoover Archives audiovisual services now offer digital file transfers via the online service Basecamp. Researchers who purchase digital reproductions of textual documents, photographs, political posters, or sound recordings in Hoover’s archival holdings can download the files at their convenience. Until now, they had to wait for files on CD or DVD to be delivered by U.S. mail.
With this service, each researcher receives a private account. Online file access is restricted to Hoover audiovisual staff and researchers with log-in permission.
