The Hoover Institution Library & Archives Summer Workshop on Modern China and Taiwan will be held at Stanford University from July 31 to August 4, 2023. The organizer is Hsiao-ting Lin, research fellow and curator of the Modern China and Taiwan collection.

The workshop invites both junior and senior researchers to utilize the Library & Archives' archival treasures and share their research findings with a diverse audience. During the week-long workshop participants conduct research in the Library & Archives Reading Room, present lunchtime talks on their scholarly projects, attend lectures, and meet with their colleagues informally at dinners and events.

Participation in the Workshop on Modern China and Taiwan is by invitation only.
