Hoover Hosts Friends and Supporters at the 2017 Fall Retreat

Thomas W. Gilligan, the Tad and Dianne Taube Director at Hoover, speaking at the David and Joan Traitel Building Dedication Ceremony. The ceremony began in the Traitel Building's Fairweather Courtyard, which sits at the foot of Hoover Tower and was sponsored by building supporters Joanne Hall and Overseer Arthur Hall and named for their philanthropic foundation.
The Traitel Building is named in honor of Hoover Overseer David Traitel and his wife, Joan (pictured), who made the lead contributions in support of its construction. Here Mrs. Traitel receives a photograph of the new building from Hoover Board of Overseers chairman Joel Peterson in honor of her and Mr. Traitel's tremendous generosity.
