More than ten thousand images of political posters are available in a searchable catalog of the Hoover Archives poster collection. The posters come from more than seventy-five countries, including three thousand from Russia and the Soviet Union, nearly two thousand from France, three hundred from China, and a hundred from Cuba.
Searches can be refined to those posters for which images are available; the posters can also be browsed by country.
Twenty thousand images of posters from Germany, Great Britain, and the United States will be scanned and added in 2009–10.
Posters protected by copyright laws are available only as thumbnails online. Posters published before 1923 are available in a larger size for easier viewing. All poster images are for educational and research purposes only.
