The Hoover Institution National Security Task Force hosted a roundtable discussion with Laura Rosenberger, White House National Security Council Senior Director for China and Taiwan.

Asking how to manage a multi-front competition with China while working with allies and partners to advance our own US vision—rather than restoring relations of the past—NSC China Director Rosenberger engaged in a wide-ranging conversation with Hoover National Security Task Force participants on the evolving dynamics of US security strategy in the Pacific. Participants discussed the nature of the China-Russia relationship, information competition between democracies and authoritarian states, and the strategic triangle being created by comparative US, Taiwan, and China strengths or vulnerabilities in the increasingly foundational global semiconductor supply chain.
