This week in 1807, former US Vice President Aaron Burr was acquitted of treason after allegedly plotting to seize western lands and create an independent republic. The most impactful “veep” in US history

Dick Cheney – plays a key in reshaping foreign policy after 9/11

Lyndon Johnson – succeeds Kennedy and implements the “Great Society”

Teddy Roosevelt – succeeds McKinley and expands federal powers

Harry Truman – succeeds FDR and launches anti-communist doctrine

Selena Meyer – ok, so she’s fictional, but she certainly was funny

The week ends with the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attack(s) on America. What stands out in the quarter of a century since that terrible day

Trade – Addressing a US-China tariff truce that soon expires
