Charles Ka Yui Leung is currently an associate professor of the Department of Economics and Finance at the City University of Hong Kong. He received the Fulbright Scholarship (Research) in year 2004-5 and has been a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley; the Hoover Institution at Stanford University; the University of Wisconsin, Madison (2013 Fall); ISER, Osaka University (2015 Spring). He has served as a guest editor of the Journal of Housing Economics, Pacific Economic Review, Taiwan Economic Review, and an editorial board member of the International Real Estate Review. He also serves a member of the Board of Directors of the Asian Real Estate Society (2007~) and the Vice-President of the Chinese Economic Association in North America (CEANA) (2017~18). He is a research associate of the Globalization and Monetary Policy Institute, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (2012~), ISER, Osaka University (2015~). He is selected as a Post Doctoral Honoree of the Weimer School of Advanced Studies in Real Estate and Land Economics (2008). He is also a Fellow of the Asian Real Estate Society (2018).
Mr. Leung received a Bachelor of Social Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1991, and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rochester in 1996.
