Mani Agarwal is a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution and an Indian career diplomat with eight years of experience. She has served in various capacities at the Indian embassies in France and Madagascar and at the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi.

Her experience lies in promoting regional cooperation among nations through multilateral platforms, coordinating developmental partnerships, and managing bilateral relations.

She holds a master’s degree in mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Hindu College, University of Delhi. As a diplomat, she has trained at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, and the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service, New Delhi.

As a visiting fellow, her research will focus on the role of critical and emerging technologies in promoting cooperation between the United States and India and strengthening US-India relations.
