Social media has fundamentally changed the way people access, consume and share news. The Hoover Institution is dedicated to leveraging this growing medium to push out and share the important work being done by our fellows at Hoover. As the year comes to a close, we’re taking a look back at our top ten Facebook posts, Instagram posts, and Tweets of 2015.
In an effort to inform public policy conversations, we continue to share information connected to issues at the forefront of American’s minds, and also aim to give our audience a behind the scenes view into Hoover. Since January, our social media presence experienced unprecedented growth. On Facebook, we grew from 66,000 to over 112,000 fans, and on Twitter, we grew from 55,000 to over 75,000 followers. In addition to expanding our audiences on social media, we are continually looking for creative ways to share our research and to engage our audiences on the issues that matter.
We’re grateful to all of you for following us and we look forward to sharing more of Hoover’s work in 2016.
