The Center for Russian, East European & Eurasian Studies (CREEES) hosted a conference titled “Revisiting the Soviet Collapse after 20 Years: A Retrospective View of Causes, Courses, and Consequences” on Friday, December 2, 2011, at the Oksenberg Auditorium on the Stanford campus. John Dunlop, senior fellow at the Hoover Institution; Stephen Kotkin, the Rosengarten Professor of Modern and Contemporary History and professor of international affairs, Princeton University, and the W. Glenn Campbell and Rita Ricardo-Campbell National Fellow, 2010-11, Hoover Institution; and Norman Naimark, senior fellow at the Hoover Institution and the Robert & Florence McDonnell Professor of East European Studies, Stanford University, participated in the conference.
