On April 11, 2013, the national security affairs fellows were part of a Hoover Institution delegation visiting Travis Air Force Base to learn about its dynamic and diverse Air Mobility Command mission, which is to be America’s first choice in executing the air movement of supplies, personnel, and equipment for the US Air Force. The group also toured the key components and facilities, including the largest air force hospital in the United States.
