Hoover Institution fellows George P. Shultz and William Perry joined journalist Ted Koppel to discuss "Anxious Times: Seeing Beyond a World of Perpetual Threats" on Saturday, October 14 on the Stanford University campus. A live web cast of the event is available at: http://stanford.edu/roundtable

Shultz, the Thomas W. and Susan D. Ford Distinguished Fellow and the 60th U.S. Secretary of State, and Perry, a senior fellow and the 19th U.S. Secretary of Defense, were part of a distinguished group of discussants: Stanford president John Hennessy, host, GlaxoSmithKline chief executive officer Jean-Pierre Garnier, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, Stanford School of Medicine's Dr. Lucy Shapiro, and Yahoo! Inc. co-founder Jerry Yang.

The panel began at 9 a.m. at Maples Pavilion and was part of the university's Reunion/Homecoming Weekend of Activities.
