Roundtable discussion features House Speaker John Boehner

House Speaker John Boehner visited the Hoover Institution on May 17, 2011, where he was the featured guest at a roundtable discussion through the leadership initiative. Boehner was sworn in as the 53rd Speaker of the House on January 5, 2011. He is a national leader in the drive for smaller, less costly, and more accountable federal government. Hoover’s leadership initiative seeks to engage key and rising political leaders with the Institution, its scholars, and its supporters.
