Josh Green is a senior editor and columnist at the Atlantic Monthly, where he covers politics and public policy. At the seminar, Green discussed the history of alternative energy during the past 30 years in the United States. Pointing out the similarities of the focus on renewable energy in both the Carter and Obama administrations, Green said the title of his article concerning renewable energy could be “Better Luck This Time.&ldwuo; Green believes that we are at a crossroads today similar to the one where we were at in 1977 but that, with money and the right incentives, American innovation can do great things.
