Who: Don Abenheim, Ph.D., is an expert on NATO, European defense issues and European history. Abenheim is currently in Vienna observing political and military activity concerning the NATO-Serbia conflict. Since 1988, Abenheim has been a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution, where he was previously a National Fellow (1987-88). Since 1981, Abenheim has had experience with the U.S Department of Defense and NATO and has worked with other defense ministries throughout Europe, especially in NATO¹s adaptation to new security challenges since 1991.
