Shultz is one of only two individuals in U.S. history to have held four federal cabinet posts and has answered his nation’s call for over 75 years, from serving with the Marines in World War II to working with Ronald Reagan to bring a peaceful end to the Cold War. George P. Shultz, former Secretary of State and the Hoover Institution’s Thomas W. and Susan B. Ford Distinguished Fellow, joins Hoover’s Summer Policy Boot Camp for a conversation about his lifelong passion for public service and his current policy pursuits.
