With Mideast peace talks again raising hopes and suspicions, the question of how to resolve the world's most intractable conflict raises its bedraggled head once more.

The parties are distrustful of one another. The world is weary. Even though early word from the first round of talks is hopeful, a resolution seems impossible.

What if there was a way for the parties to see the value of focusing on a shared future instead of a divided past?
