December 2020: Updates From the Director's Desk

Thursday, December 10, 2020

Greetings to all of the friends and supporters of the Hoover Institution Library & Archives. We wish you the happiest of holidays at the close of this highly unusual year. I hope you and your friends, families, and communities are well.

Despite the challenges of 2020, the Library & Archives has continued to serve researchers with a hybrid work model, allowing us to protect the health and well-being of our staff and the greater research community, while continuing to advance our mission. As you will see in the story below, our support of remote researchers includes digitizing on demand tens of thousands of images that are essential for scholarship.

We’ll be closed from December 14, 2020, to January 4th, 2021. We wish you a peaceful time with friends and family and look forward to reconnecting with you virtually and, when possible, in person in the new year.
