On June 27 Hoover Archives welcomed Steven Teles, professor of political science at Johns Hopkins University, for a talk entitled "A Classic Reconsidered: The Rise of the Conservative Legal Movement Ten Years On." Teles's talk was the keynote address of Hoover's Workshop on Political Economy, which brings scholars from around the globe to use Hoover's reading rooms for interdisciplinary study. An expert on government and foreign affairs, Teles is currently working on a book about Republican opponents of President Donald Trump.
